About the Scholarship

At LinkedIn, one of our core values is to “Dream big, get things done, and know how to have fun.” The Possibilities in Tech Scholarship supports the big dreams of future talent from backgrounds who have been historically underrepresented in tech. Scholarship recipients will engage in four years of community building, college navigation support, and technical training focused on these four pillars of persistence: 

- Sense of Belonging -Self-Advocacy and Getting Help -Readiness for Career in Technology -Financial Independence

The Women at Microsoft Scholarship seeks to empower high school women and non-binary people to go to college and target a career in the technology industry.

The Microsoft HOLA Scholarship is dedicated to supporting the growth of Hispanic and Latinx communities and encouraging students to pursue careers in technology.

The Generation Google Scholarship was established to help aspiring students pursuing computer science degrees excel in technology and become leaders in the field. Selected students will receive $10,000 USD (for those studying in the US) or $5,000 CAD (for those studying in Canada) for the 2023-2024 school year. The Generation Google Scholarship will be awarded based on the strength of each candidate's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, demonstrated leadership, and academic performance.

As part of our commitment to military veterans, Google established the Google SVA Scholarship in partnership with Student Veterans of America. The scholarship provides assistance to student veterans who are pursuing university degrees in the field of computer science in the U.S. Selected students will receive 10,000 USD for the 2023-2024 school year.

At Amazon, supporting underserved students in their computer science education is not only important to us–it’s imperative to building a diverse tech industry and future. Our Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship program provides students with an opportunity to upgrade their careers with a $40,000 scholarship, plus an offer to complete a paid summer internship at Amazon.
