Role Overview:
SOMOS.tech is looking for a Social Media & Communications Coordinator to help expand our online presence and effectively communicate our mission across various platforms. This role involves managing social media channels, assisting with newsletter creation, and ensuring that our messaging remains consistent and impactful.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts to promote SOMOS.tech’s activities and updates.
Work closely with the Content Writer to repurpose newsletter content for social media and other communication channels.
Monitor social media engagement and respond to community inquiries in a timely manner.
Support the Director of Communication in developing and implementing communication strategies.
Analyze social media metrics to optimize content and outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
Experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands.
Strong writing skills and ability to create engaging content for different platforms.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track performance.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Passionate about promoting diversity in the tech industry.
